Tribhuvan University (TU) CMAT Entrance Exam [2025]

CMAT stands for Central Management Admission Test. CMAT is the Multiple choice exam conducted by the Faculty of Management (FOM) under Tribhuvan University. 

To be admitted into programs run by the Faculty of Management, Students must appear in the CMAT exam. Faculty of Management includes a program such as a Bachelor in Information Technology (BIM), Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Business Management (BBM), Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM), Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA).

 

Why is CMAT required?

CMAT is required to get admission into the Management program of Tribhuvan University.

 

CMAT Eligibility

• Minimum D+ grade in each subject of grades 11 and 12 with a CGPA of 1.6 or more,
• Or Minimum score of second division marks in 10+2, PCL or Equivalent in any discipline.
• Students who have passed grade 11 and are waiting for grade 12 results can also apply. However, they have to submit the certificate of grade 12 at the time of admission.

 

How to Apply for the TU CMAT Exam?

Students have to submit the application form for the entrance exam. The form can be received from any affiliated college of Tribhuvan University. 

 

CMAT ENTRANCE PAPER PATTERN

The test carries 100 marks, and it must be completed within 90 minutes. The test covers four sections.
