The government has decided to cancel the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) 2077 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The exam was previously scheduled to be held in Baisakh 2077 and was put off until further notice.
With the implementation of the Education (Eighth Amendment) Act, 2073 BS, the National Examination Board has become functional with the dismissal of the Higher Secondary Education Council. SLC is an examination conducted by The National Examinization Board (NEB) to certify that students have successfully completed 11 and 12th grade. Every year thousand of students take part in SLC from all over the country.
After successfully completing the SLC, students qualify for Bachelor education. NEB regularly conducts the SEE exam in the month of Baisakh. At the end of the academic session, 11 and 12th grade students appear in the SLC exam. Before 2073, SLC is used to be called HSEB Exam and exam was conducted by HSEB.HSEB result used to be published in Percentage whereas SLC RESULT publishes in Grading System.
