CMAT stands for Central Management Admission Test. CMAT is the Multiple choice exam conduct by the Faculty of Management (FOM) under Tribhuvan University.
To admit into programs run by the Faculty of Management, Students must appear in the CMAT exam. Faculty of Management includes a program such as a Bachelors in Information Technology (BIM), Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Business Management (BBM), Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM), Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA).

CMAT is required to get admission into the Management program of Tribhuvan University.
Students have to submit the Applications Form for the entrance exam. The form can be received from any affiliated colleges of Tribhuvan University.
The test carries 100 marks, and it must be completed within 90 minutes. The test covers four sections.
