Chandragiri Municipality Vacancy for Nagar Prahari

The Chandragiri Municipality  is looking to hire Nepali citizens for their city police contract service. If you are interested and eligible, you need to provide your personal information, Nepali citizenship certificates, educational qualification certificates, and experience certificates. These documents should be submitted to the revenue branch of the Chandragiri Municipality office in Balambu. You should personally go to the administration branch of the municipality to collect the application form and then submit it in the required format to the administration branch.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Age: Nepalese citizens who have completed 30 years and not exceeded 45 years for city police inspectors, city police assistant inspectors and 18 years and not exceeded 35 years for city police jawans till the last date of application.
2. Educational Qualification: For the post of City Police Inspector, should have passed graduation level or equivalent from a recognized educational institution, S.L.C./SEE from a recognized educational institution for the post of City Police Assistant Inspector. Similarly, for the post of city police constable, eight classes should be passed.
3. For all the mentioned posts, they should not have been punished in any criminal charges that show moral degradation.
4. Not being a member of any political party.
5. For the posts of City Police Inspector and City Police Assistant Inspector, the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force of Nepal must have retired from at least junior officer or equivalent position.
6. City police candidates must submit a health certificate from an approved doctor along with the application form compulsorily.
7. Height, Chest Weight and Eyes: 
   1. For men:
      • Height should be at least 5 feet 2 inches.
      • Chest should be at least 31 inches when not inflated and at least 33 inches when inflated.
      • Weight should be at least 50 kg.
      • Eyesight should not be weaker than minus 2 or plus 2.
   2. For women:
      • Height should be at least 5 feet.
      • Weight should be at least 42 kg.
      • Eyesight should not be weaker than minus 2 or plus 2.
8. Required Documents:
   • Copy of educational qualification certificate,
   • Copy of Nepali Citizenship Certificate,
   • Copy of health certificate,
   • Copy of work experience certificate.
9. Priority will be given to applicants with a light four-wheeler and heavy vehicle driver's license.
10. The application fee for the City Police positions is as follows:
    • City Police Inspector: Rs. 1000/-
    • City Police Assistant Inspector: Rs. 500/-
    • City Police Constable: Rs. 300/-
11. Facilities: in accordance with the procedures outlined in the City Police Operation and Management Guidelines of 2079.
12. Type of Examination:

    • Interview.
